Frostproofer & Rapid Hardener
Frostproofer & Rapid Hardener is a set and hardening accelerator for concrete and mortar.
It is a highly concentrated calcium chloride based liquid admixture for concrete and mortar which rapidly accelerates the setting and hardening times of all Portland cement mixes.
CAUTION: Frostproofer & Rapid Hardener contains chlorides and is not suitable for use in reinforced concrete or any mortars containing metal wall ties or reinforcing.
- Helps prevent frost damage in newly placed material
- Accelerates setting
- Increases early strengths (especially at lower temperatures)
- Allows brick laying and rendering to continue normally at low temperature
