Larsen Building Products

Larsen Building Products, as part of the Larsen group of companies, has been manufacturing quality building products since establishment in 1975. Larsen has now grown to become a market leading manufacturer of a comprehensive range of products for the construction industry.

2008 sees the next step in Larsen's continued growth with the completion of a purpose built manufacturing facility in the Port of Belfast. This industry leading, computer controlled facility has a production capacity of over 100,000 tonnes of product annually.

Quality

Larsen's quality policy ensures all products are manufactured to exacting quality and performance standards. Stringent testing by qualified quality technicians ensures products meet the requirements of national standards, harmonized European standards or Larsen's internal specifications before despatch.

Service

Larsen prides itself on the unrivalled level of service offered to our customers. This commitment goes further than just ensuring deliveries arrive promptly. Our wide experience of the entire construction process draws on the expertise and breadth knowledge gained over the last 30 years to provide an unsurpassed level of technical back-up and know-how.

Research

Larsen commits significant resources to the development of new products and the continual improvement of existing products. Our highly trained research department use cutting edge experimental methods and laboratory equipment to develop products tailored to the end user's requirements. After a product has been developed in the laboratory, long hours are spent on site testing the product with real end users. Our relationship with end users is critical to the development process and we value highly the opinions of experienced tradesmen.

Environment

Larsen Building Products manage chemicals in a responsible manner that minimises potential environmental and health impacts. We are committed to a program of research in an attempt to develop products with a smaller environmental footprint and improved sustainability. This is a two-fold approach, firstly we aim to become more efficient in the use of packaging and raw materials and secondly through development of advanced products and systems we aim to increase sustainability in the construction process by improving the methods of construction used.

Health & Safety

Larsen is committed to ensuring that all aspects of our business are carried out to the highest standards of health and safety at work. Larsen are also committed to a process of monitoring and improvement to ensure that activities comply with all relevant legislation and provide employees with a safe working environment and also protect those who may be affected by our activities from harm.
